Trees
The Great Green Growing Trees,
Never have to pay the school fees.
They can be seen on the ground,
And everywhere they are found.
Maybe that’s why they are wonders of the world,
And also a home to many birds.
With a trunk so tall,
You couldn’t strike them with a ball.
They need no help from any.
And require not a single penny.
Maybe thats why they are made.
If you show them a blade,
They will cause road rage!
So we should give them water-their daily wage.
Trees make the true earth.
They are here since our birth.
With them you could play, hide and seek,
Because they can never speak.
They are so much fun,
Round and around them you could run.
They are truly for us,
Talking about them is not a fuss.
They make the ground look clean.
And their love is lovely green.
They are so high,
Their leaves would never lie.
For them, I could die.
Just talk to them-they feel so shy.
We love them a lot.
And give us shade, when its hot.
You could cut their sole with a knife.
That shows they love life.
Trees breed for the bees,
But hate the flees.
Trees can touch my heart,
Oh! That is definitely smart.
They live for 100s of years.
Maybe that is why they never shed tears.
They can survive the cold.
And their trunks are trust worthy and bold.
They might be old.
But millions of life they can hold.
My sonnet might end.
And branches might bend.
But they are immortal.
And I am literally mortal.
That is the difference made.
And that is how the rules were laid.
Even if one has Sans Ears.
Their rustle one could still hear.
They are highly high- hybrids,
And of different breeds.
But all to me are one,
And that is how the earth must run.
So spare some guns.
And that is how we shall overcome.
